Elders and Deacons

We are led by a team of biblically qualified male Elders who serve as shepherds under Christ.  Each elder acts with equal authority, yet differs in their responsibilities.  Elders work in mutual regard, collaboration, and unity with one another.  They make decisions on behalf of the church with both prayerful conviction and pastoral sensitivity.

Deacons meet the care needs of the body and are a vital part of the ministry here.  They also organize and equip others to meet the larger needs of the church family here.

  • Kelly Hubley

    Elder

Kelly has served as a lay elder at Redemption Hill Church since the merge of Foothills and Calvary in 2017. Prior to serving at Redemption Hill, he was serving God and his flock as an Elder at Calvary Community Church in RP since 2010.  He has been a resident of Sonoma County since his family moved up from Marin in 1960. His wife, Linda, claims residency a tad longer than that. Watching the county grow over those 60+ years has given them a perspective of the changing needs of the community, which impacts the way that he shepherds the members of Redemption Hill.

  • Tim Swanson

    Pastor/Elder - Preaching and Vision

Tim oversees preaching, vision, the ministry staff, leadership development, discipleship, and administration.  His passion is to “help people understand the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ, challenge them to live as Christ lived, and equip them for the work of God’s ministry.”  As a California kid who grew up in the East Bay, he has been blessed to minister in the greater Bay Area and call Sonoma County home. He and his wife, Alisa have been married since July 1997 and have three adult children: Ashley, Trenton, and Tyler. Tim has been a Pastor/Elder at Redemption Hill Church since the merge of Foothills Community Church and Calvary Community Church in August 2017.  Prior to this merge, he was the Lead Pastor at Foothills Community Church for 9 years.  He was also on the pastoral staff of First Baptist Church of Windsor for 8 years and in a bi-vocational role at First Baptist Church of Castro Valley for 8 years.  Tim received a Master of Divinity degree in Theology from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (Gateway Seminary) and a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University of Hayward (East Bay).  He continues to be a part of the steering team for The Gospel Coalition North Bay, on the board for Venture Church Network NorCal/Nevada, and has served in the past as member of the Windsor High School Site Council as well as Windsor Unified School District L.C.A.P. Committee.  Some of Tim's greatest joys include reading God’s Word; going on dates with his wife; spending time with his children; aviation; and watching the Giants, Raiders, Warriors, Iowa Hawkeyes, Windsor Jaguars, and Healdsburg Greyhounds.
